Join us while we do yoga under the sun with instructor Nila! This will be a fun time to reconnect your mind and body with the JHU campus.

In this one-hour course, we will cover three fun meet-and-greet exercises that will allow you to strengthen old friendships and form new ones. Ditch the business card and bring your wit, your favorite JHU memories, and your smartphone. Yes, you read that correctly. You’ll need to pull out your device for the third and most engaging icebreaker exercise in this class. Once you complete the course, you’ll have some great tools in your networking tool kit to form lasting connections this alumni weekend and beyond. Perfect for alumni returning for Reunion Weekend, this event is a taste of year-round non-credit courses offered through the Odyssey Lifelong Learning Program. Join John Lim (Carey Business School, Class of ’14) for an engaging session that will enhance your networking experience and help you stay connected long after the weekend ends.

Join George Scheper, Senior Lecturer at JHU Advanced Academic Programs, MLA, and current Odyssey instructor, for an exciting exploration of one of the world’s most breathtaking archaeological sites—Machu Picchu. Set high in the Peruvian Andes, this iconic Incan city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders, holds immense historical and cultural significance. Learn about its fascinating history, intricate stonework, sacred spaces, and the contemporary challenges it faces, including environmental preservation and the impact of tourism. This session offers a deep dive into the wonders of Machu Picchu and broader discussions on world cultural heritage. Perfect for alumni returning for Reunion Weekend, this event is a taste of year-round non-credit courses offered through the Odyssey Lifelong Learning Program.

Join the Hopkins Retrospective team for a walking tour of the Homewood campus. Learn about the history of this place through the evolution of its buildings and the experiences of its people. 

If inclement weather, the tour will be canceled.

Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a water bottle. Meet on the brick sidewalk between the Homewood Museum and the Eisenhower Library.

Join us for an engaging panel discussion about the exciting developments and progress of the Hopkins Student Center. This cutting-edge facility, slated to open in 2025, is poised to become a cornerstone of student life on campus, transforming the Hopkins experience and reshaping campus dynamics. Our panel will feature campus leaders, as well as undergraduate and graduate students, and will be moderated by Grant Kelly, Chief Engagement Officer of the Hopkins Student Center. We'll explore the design philosophy behind the Hopkins Student Center, its adaptable spaces designed for a variety of activities, and its expected influence on campus culture, promoting collaboration and enhancing the student experience. After the discussion, audience members will have the chance to ask questions of the panelists.

Dr. Sujung Kim, Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies, Anthropology, Johns Hopkins University moderates a discussion among a panel of distinguished alumni of Johns Hopkins University who majored in anthropology reflecting on how anthropology has guided them in their lives and in making an impact in the world. This event is part of “Celebrating Fifty Years of Anthropology” hosted by the Department of Anthropology celebrating five decades of groundbreaking research and dialogue shaping the study of humanity and society.

Come explore the Homewood campus with tour guides from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions! Guides will lead attendees on a general tour of campus, showcasing areas, features, programs, and events unique to our campus, as well as sharing their own Hopkins experience.

Join Daniel Weiss, PhD, Homewood Professor of the Humanities, Sr. Advisor to the Provost for the Arts, and President Emeritus of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, for a panel discussion on the arts at Hopkins. Dan will have a seat with several members of the Homewood arts community to reflect on art as an indispensable part of learning, share ongoing art creation and engagement opportunities, and discuss how Hopkins’ new arts initiative will enhance the student experience.

You can test, touch, and try a variety of technologies and engage with manipulatives and other teaching tools as you make your way across the tent.

Student entrepreneurship is a critical component of the student experience at Johns Hopkins University. At the Pava Marie LaPere Center for Entrepreneurship, our professional staff works with all students, from undergrad to post-doc, to support their entrepreneurial pursuits and turn good ideas into investible businesses. Join us at the Pava Center for a networking happy hour and tour. You’ll have the chance to meet staff, including Josh Ambrose (our Center’s director), along with a handful of recent graduates who went through the program and continue to make progress on their startups today!

The shuttle will leave Copper Union at 10pm to go back to Homewood Campus.

Join us for a networking gathering with Asian and Pacific Islander (API) alumni and student leaders at the local Baltimore cafe, Kanom. It will be an opportunity for our alumni and friends to connect with our current students on campus, including representatives from active API student organizations and share your Hopkins stories and experiences. From Matcha croissants to Taro lattes, Kanom offers a wide selection of bakery, breakfast drinks as well as breakfast items with an Asian twist. Registration includes one caffeinated/non-caffeinated drink and one food ticket!

In the JHU HUB, Rachel Wallach writes, "John Barth, A&S '51, '52 (MA), groundbreaking and prolific author, revered teacher, and professor emeritus in The Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins University, died on April 2, 2024 at 93. Best known for his postmodernist, unpredictable fiction and his exacting and generous teaching, Barth served on the Johns Hopkins faculty from 1973 until he retired in 1995. He is the author of 17 novels and collections of short fiction and three collections of essays. He won a National Book Award, F. Scott Fitzgerald Award for Outstanding Achievement in American Fiction, a Lannan Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award, and the PEN/Malamud Award for Excellence in the Short Story." Come gather with Barth's students, mentees, colleagues, admirers, and readers to celebrate and honor his life and work.

International Alumni Network strives to connect current international students on campus with alums of similar background in an effort to build a community for resource-sharing, empowerment and solidarity. Please join us at Sakoon and get to know our students and their experiences while sharing your stories and strategies to navigate academia, culture and career development whilst in Hopkins. Join the Catholic Community at Hopkins at Saints Philip and James Church as we gather for Mass at 10:30am, followed by a brunch in our church hall! This is a perfect chance to reconnect with fellow alumni and meet some of our current students. Alumni families are also welcome to join us!

Street parking is available around the church in addition to a church parking lot at the corner of 28th St and N Charles St.

Come join us for the Inter-Asian Cultural Exposition! We will be featuring visual and performing arts pieces by APIDA Baltimore and JHU community members. In the past, groups such as the Hopkins Symphony Orchestra and the Lion Dance have performed. We will also be featuring the Inter-Asian Council's annual Fashion Show!

The Red Dress Gala is Alpha Phi's biggest philanthropic event of the year. The Gala raises money for the Alpha Phi Foundation focused on women's heart health. Festivities will include dinner, drinks, a raffle, guest speakers, and games.

Red attire is encouraged but not required!
